What is LEAP Education?

LEAP Education Research and Consultancy Limited (LEAP Education) provides professional learning and development for kaiako, leaders, teachers and management in the early childhood and primary sector.  Since launching in 2015, we’ve worked with hundreds of early childhood services around New Zealand and overseas.

LEAP  Education engages in professional learning programmes and on behalf of the New Zealand Ministry of Education.

We also undertake professional training and development programmes for individual and cluster early childhood services and schools.  These individual programmes are tailored to suit the  specific needs and desired area of development, and may include a range of learning techniques including workshops, one-to-one mentoring, and group coaching.

Our Approach

Our professional learning and development programmes build on a systems approach to develop contextually relevant pedagogy in practice, strengthening agency and confidence to implement curriculum inspired from each service philosophy.  From in-centre work to research support, our goal is for our team to work closely alongside kaiako, leaders and management, supporting you in you professional learning and helping you extend your knowledge while improving learning outcomes for children.

Contact us if you would like personalised support at your place.

LEAP Education's professional learning and development is based on engagement and attention to the things that matter in education with teachers and managers, contributing to the learning community. We provide coaching, mentoring and training with pedagogical leaders, who belong to a wider community of practice and are actively engaged in improving the educational experience for children, whānau, and their communities.
